It’s completely over, the BOBCO 2008.

There was a quite strong wind, 5 to 6 bft, but it came all the way from the land, so we only felt like 1 or 2 bft. This had a logical result: the lightest people and those with the largest sails (5,5 square meters) were in the best position! Unfortunately, I don’t apply for neither of those conditions. That’s the main reason why my races kind of sucked (yep, not only the wind did!). Anyway, I got 7th out of 15 in my class and 7th out of 20 in my poule. In the overall results (for what it’s worth), I got the 22nd place, out of a total of 62 participants.

Disregarded the lack of wind (and results), I would like to thank everyone who participated. Also, a special thank goes to the organisation of catering, logistics ect and of course the race officer (my father).

See you next time!
